How do I pay Unique Cleaning Company?
After scheduling your appointment, you will be guided to our secure portal for payment using a major credit card. For recurring appointments, your card details will be securely stored and charged for each subsequent appointment. In the event of a cancellation or postponement adhering to our policy, your card will not be charged.
Do I need to sign a contract with Unique Cleaning Company?
For our residential services, there is no need for a contract. You have the flexibility to cancel with Unique Cleaning Company at any time. However, for our commercial clients, we implement a contract to ensure mutual protection for both the business and Unique Cleaning Company. This helps to establish clarity regarding the job scope and respective responsibilities.

We’re a family-owned business and guarantee that we’ll treat your home like our own. If you are unhappy with your home cleaning, let us know within 24 hours and we will send a team back to fix it at no additional charge. We may also send out our Field Supervisor to oversee so we can fully understand your needs and determine a plan of action for future visits.
Is it Possible to Clean when I’m not Home?
Yes it is possible for us to clean when you are not home. It’s always recommended that the client meets with the cleaners upon their arrival to do a walkthrough of the property and set expectations about everything you would like done. However if you cannot be home, it’s important to share detailed instructions about what you would like focused on during the cleaning. Clients are welcome to provide us with a key for safekeeping, leave a key, lockbox code/door code or garage access. We will ensure to lock up upon completion of your service.

How Do I Change or Cancel My Booking?
Because we reserve a time specifically for you, please call, text, or email our office no later than 48 hours in advance of your cleaning service to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment. If you must cancel your appointments, we respectfully request 48 hours’ notice. Let us know before 24hr in advance to avoid our $120.00 cancellation fee. Refusal of letting our staff in on the day of service will result in full payment.
What areas does Unique Cleaning Company serve?
Our service covers Ottawa and its neighboring communities, spanning from the east in Orleans to the west of Kanata and encompassing South Ottawa and all areas in between. To facilitate our service, we kindly request that clients ensure free parking is available for our staff.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds. If you ever find dissatisfaction with our cleaning service, notify us within 24 hours, and we will promptly send a team to address any concerns at no extra cost. Additionally, our field supervisor may visit to oversee the situation if needed be, allowing us to better understand your needs and establish a plan of action for future visits
How long will my appointment take?
As a flat-rate service company, we charge based on the entire job rather than hourly rates. The appointment time slots provided are approximations, scheduled according to the information provided in the booking form. We commit to staying until the job is successfully completed.

There will always be a team of 2 at your home. For larger homes we will send out additional team members if required for efficiency. The hours of a service are always divided by the number of team members working ex: 3 hours x 2 people = 6 hour service.
